We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. Legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent), (b) (performance of a contract) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on our own infrastructure hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, information (server log files) transmitted by your browser is automatically collected: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system used. This data serves technical provision, security and stability and is deleted after a short time. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

4. Contact

When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Placement of experts and freelancers

If you send us your profile as a freelancer or interim manager, we process this data for the purpose of placing suitable mandates. Disclosure to potential clients only takes place after prior agreement with you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

6. Cookies and consent management

Our website uses technically necessary cookies. Optional cookies or services are only set with your consent via our consent management tool. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser bar.

8. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21) GDPR. You may also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

This privacy policy is updated as needed to comply with legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services.

10. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for website statistics, integrated through Google Site Kit. The Google tag is loaded only after you consent to Statistics. Processing includes page views, interactions, technical browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Google states that individual IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4.

The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Data may also be processed by Google LLC in the USA. See Google's international transfer safeguards and Google's Privacy Policy.

The _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish visits and store session status. Their default lifetime is up to two years and may be renewed on subsequent visits. You can delete them in your browser. Additional cookie details are available in the Cookie Policy.

You can reject statistics without losing access to the rest of the website. Use the permanently available Cookie settings button to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

11. Complianz, language and fonts

We use the Complianz plugin installed on our server to manage your cookie preferences. Necessary cookies store the selected categories and cookie-policy version. This supports our consent obligations under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; necessary access to your device is based on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Cookie details and lifetimes are listed in our Cookie Policy. Polylang may store your language choice. Fonts are available locally or hosted on our server; this website does not load fonts from Google servers.

12. Expert profiles and linked portals

Our expert pages display published professional profiles from our expert portal, including first names, professional focus, skills, experience, availability and, where provided, profile photos. Profile data is retrieved by our server; photos may load from the portal's image storage. Public display is separate from individually sharing a complete profile with a prospective client. For registration, profile management and further processing in the linked expert and company portals, please also read their respective privacy notices.

LinkedIn is an ordinary link. LinkedIn is accessed only when you follow that link.

You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Please use the contact address above.
